What you're buying

A document. When you order a ChalkWar playbook, you're paying us to draw the plays you describe into a printable PDF playbook. It's a per-season purchase of a finished file — not an auto-renewing subscription. A season runs from the day you buy through the following August 1. Nothing renews on its own and nothing is charged again unless you buy the next season; the books you built and printed stay yours to keep.

Building it happens on our site, so you also get a sign-in to your own book: no password, we email you a link. That's a tool for making and reprinting the book you bought, not a separate product — and you can ignore it entirely and reply to your order email with your plays instead.

Your plays stay yours

The plays you send us are yours and remain yours. We claim no ownership of your plays, your schemes, or your team's identity, and we won't publish, resell, or reuse them.

Your license to the book

The finished playbook is yours to use without limits that matter: print as many copies as you want, share it with your coaches, parents, and players, forever. We keep no rights to your plays. We do keep the right to our own drawing style and templates so we can make books for other teams.

What we promise

Your book is drawn from your descriptions, and every card is checked by ChalkWar AI against what you told us before it lands. Plays from our library are yours to print the moment the book is built; plays you describe are checked by a coach and added to your book within 24 hours, with an email when they land. You can change any card yourself in one tap. If a description is unclear, we ask rather than guess.

Refunds and redraws

Full refund, no questions asked, any time before your book is delivered. After delivery, we redraw any play until it matches what you meant. The details are on the refunds page.

What we ask of you

Describe plays using positions only — never children's names or any information about a minor. Send only material you have the right to share.

Safety

Football is a contact sport. These cards are drawings of plays, not coaching: how a play is taught, practiced and run, and every question of player safety, equipment, supervision and medical care, is the coach's and the program's responsibility. ChalkWar is not responsible for injuries that happen on the field. By using the book you agree that you, not ChalkWar, decide what is safe for your players.

The boring-but-honest part

We're a small service. If something outside our control delays your book, we'll tell you fast and you can take the refund. Our total liability is capped at what you paid us. These terms are a deal between you and ChalkWar, LLC, an Arizona limited liability company, and are governed by the laws of Arizona.
